River Bear Cache Traditional Cache
McGeesters: This was a great cache back in the day. Great memories of river trips with great friends. Might replace with new cache- might not. Thanks to all the finders! Hope you had fun!

An easy grab by boat in the summer but you may have to tie your boat to a tree in the winter to get this one.
This cache is on an unnamed island in the Willamette River but believe it or not but during the summer it is actually connected to the mainland. Placed this cache without a boat but would highly recommend using one. A huge log jam at the south end of the island makes the trek very difficult along with the prescence of Bald Face Hornets which Mr McGeester was greeted by before we hightailed it to another route. Another plus for using a boat.
An unactivated set of TB Dog Tags awaits the FTF. The cache is full of goodies and some brand new TB's the McGeesters are releasing.
