The second cache in my Varna micro/nano caches series.
This nano cache is related to the old times. The place is nowadays known as the "Obshtinata" by the purpose of the tall building next to it, i.e the City Hall. The building used to be the office of the communist party during the old times.
Close to the cache there is a monument of the marines that were killed in the Serbian-Bulgarian war in 1885. The monument was built in 1894 in front of the Cathedral. Due to the increased traffic its location was changed in 1958 to the garden of the Institute of Shipbuilding. In 1999 the monument was moved to its current location to replace the destroyed monument of the bulgarian communist leader Georgi Dimitrov.
Also close to the cache is the archaeological museum which hosts the oldest gold treasure in the world, excavated in 1972 and dating to 4600-4200 BC.
Please bring a pen and put only your initials and date in the log. If the log is full please attach a picture of something in the surrounding area that you like, e.g. the fountains.
