Geocache Description:

Your looking for a small ammo can with lots of little items for trade and also a FTF gift. It won't be a hard find just a bit of a challenge to get to.

Welcome to the entrance to Alligator Bay on the ICW. You will need to boat or paddle your way to this one with public launch access close by, below the high rise bridge to N. Topsail Beach. Coords for launch are listed below.
Being out on the water is always a joy cause you just never know what your going to see. This small little patch of sand and brush make up a small line of little island-like spots that guard the entrance to this large bay. This area has large amounts of marshes and wildlife to see as you head up into it.
We're sure there's a reason for the name of this bay and I can say we haven't gone out of our way to go up into or search for any reptiles that JUST may be bigger than our kayaks (just kidding... I hope).
