Welcome to Cape Breton Highlands National Park!
This area of Ingonish is very rich in history, having served various peoples at various times for various reasons. Come explore around the Middle Head area to see the places and feel a part of the stories that happened here.
There are five caches in this multi-cache and, the theme of this multi-cache being cultural history, each cache will be concerned with a different element of the history of Middle Head. On each card you will be given partial co-ordinates to the next cache.
In order to get the full co-ordinates it will be necessary to solve the rhyming riddle on each card.
When you've figured out the missing word on the card, use the chart below to match the first letter of the word to a number. This will be the missing number of the co-ordinate. For example:
If the missing word is "park" then take the first letter, 'p' and find it on the chart below:

Bienvenue au Parc national des Hautes-Terres-du-Cap-Breton!
Cette partie d'Ingonish a une grande valeur historique, ayant été habitée par divers peuples à diverses époques pour diverses raisons. Pars à la découverte des environs de Middle Head pour en explorer les recoins et revivre les histoires dont ils sont porteurs.
Cette multi-cache comprend cinq cachettes, chacune portant sur un élément particulier de l'histoire de Middle Head. À chacune, tu trouveras une carte portant une partie des coordonnées de la cachette suivante.
Pour avoir les coordonnées complètes, tu dois résoudre l'énigme inscrite sur la carte.
Quand tu auras trouvé le mot manquant sur la carte, prends-en la première lettre et sers toi du tableau ci-dessous pour la faire correspondre à un chiffre. Ce chiffre est celui qui manque dans la coordonnée fournie. Par exemple:
Si le mot manquant de l'énigme est « parc », prends la première lettre, « p », et trouve-la sur le tableau ci-dessous :

Then take the number and fill in the blank on the co-ordinate:
N 49.874' W 060.95_'
So "park" gives us N 49.874' W 060.950' and that would be your co-ordinate.
In this way, you will be capable of finding all five caches.
As well, on each card you are given one word in a sentence. Remember each word from each card, because when you reach the last cache, you can put them all together to form a message. Note: These do not have anything to do with finding the co-ordinates, it is just an extra puzzle for you to solve.

En procédant de la sorte, tu pourras découvrir les cinq cachettes.
De plus, tu trouveras sur chaque carte un mot d'une phrase secrète. Souviens-toi de chaque mot et, une fois parvenu à la dernière cachette, assemble-les pour former un message. À noter : cette énigme additionnelle est juste là pour ton amusement, et n'a rien à voir avec la recherche des coordonnées.
