Geocache Description:

Welcome to The Nelsonville Trails! Due to all the rain we have had, the trails are a little washed out and/or muddy BUT the markers are up and running! It is a great spot! Park at 41 25.465 073 56.049. It's a large parking lot for the Masonic Temple. The walk in is about 10 minutes passing a marsh follow the Yellow Trail, it's really the only one for awhile...but stay on the Yellow Trail. Feel Free to continue up this trail for more caches and scenic views!

Our Journeys are more than just a walk in a beautiful place...they are our daily lives. Our ups and our downs. We walk this journey with a beginning and an end. We have the choice to pay attention to it or not. I put this here to inspire more people to go to these trails and to open up the senses of each one of our own journeys through this thing called life!

Kids and Dogs love the trails! Pay attention to your senses and your gps, but know that the yellow trail bends so when you think you should bushwack, go a little bit further to the bend.

There is a puzzle cache just up the mountain that could use some more finders and it is a gorgeous spot that I have spent many a day on with a great book and my dog! It's called Undercliff GCH23C. Also see the Mt. Taurus cache, which is not to far either, but definitely a good hike!

Please do not remove cool pen...it looks tied up for a reason! TFTF
