| This cache has a Peaks to Prairie Triathlon theme. This race happens in April and begins in Red Lodge and ends in Billings. It includes a 8.8 mile run, then a 43 mile bike ride and boaters finish after traveling 22 miles from Laurel to Billings. There are four stages to this multi-cache. The first stage starts in the mountains, the second stage is in Red Lodge, the third stage is in Laurel, and the final stage ends in Billings. (by Get up and Go) |
The theme for this cache was originally published by Get up and Go and was a cool multi. It takes a little driving, but Red Lodge is a neat town with lots to do and you can cache back to Billings. The description above is right from Get up and Go's cache page. I just lifted it right out and plunked it here. We changed a few things, so it will be new to those who did the original. One of the problems with the old cache was the final stage had a way of disapearing now and again. We hope we have taken care of that, but of course, we need your help to replace it as best you can just as, or better than, you find it. AND, be extreamly aware of muggles. This is a popular park. As always the city park hours are 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
