Geocache Description:

Part of a series of caches, named after festivals, fairs and celebrations that you might find in India.

The 5 day Fesival of Lights is probably the best known festival in the UK. During Diwali, Indian homes are spring cleaned and windows are opened to welcome Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth. Lamps, lights and candles are lit to welcome the Goddess Laksmi and gifts are exchanged.
