Geocache Description:

I was passing by this area on a geocaching trip to the McCracken Rodeo when I came upon this historic marker. I had always heard of the Indian Peace Treaty celebration in Medicine Lodge but I had never attended. So I thought by placing a cache here it would allow for us to enjoy this park together. You are looking for a cammoed match container. There will be no need to go onto the golf course grounds to hunt for this.

The Indian Peace Treaty Pagent is held every three years with tht next one on
September 23 thu 24, 2011 and September 30 thru October 1, 2011 .
