The cache is located at a family cemetery where some of Momma Bragg's extended family are laid to rest. Be sure to check out the back side of the headstones on your way out for some rather interesting features.
First cache placement for our son - he is pumped!
We named this "The OTHER Cooper's Treasure" after two trips to Washington state during the past year and learning about the legend of D.B Cooper who hijacked a commercial jet liner in 1971, and after receiving a $200,000 ransom, escaped by parachuting from the rear stairwell while flying near the Columbia River just north of Portland, Oregon. Neither he nor the money was ever found until an eight year old boy found almost $6,000 in tattered bills in 1980 near the drop zone that proved to be from the original ransom. However, the mystery remains and there continues to be rampant speculation as to whether D.B. Cooper survived or perished during his daring escape. Cooper's stash was also feature in the 2004 comedy "Without a Paddle".
This treasure is not nearly as valuable D.B. Cooper's, but will hopefully provide you with a bit of adventure. The FTF prize is some quality time with a famous President.
