An easy cache. (If you use the hint!)
IMPORTANT!: I've had a request from the Shire to tell all geocachers NOT TO DRIVE VEHICLES ON THE TRAIL! If this persists I will have to remove this cache and all the BYOB caches. Please don't be the idiot who kills these popular caches!
A bit of a hidden treasure and a well kept secret is the series of shelter huts on the Heritage Walk Trail. This cache is hidden in hut number one which has recently been completely rebuilt. (The original was eaten by termites).
Think of this cache as a sort of sorbet between the entree of Bring Your Own Battery #1 (GC21C09) and the main course of Bring Your Own Battery #2 (GC240TV). And if you want dessert, carry on to Jarrah Splits (GC1KJBC) 1 kilometre further down the track at hut 3. Good hunting!
Please make sure you put it back exactly where you found it, otherwise the hint won't work.
A quick word about snakes. Yes, there are Dugite and Tiger Snakes around here, and that certainly 'freaks some people out.'
Don't be a Wuss, our snakey substances are not going to drop on you from the trees, or leap out of the shrubbery and fang you. You are most likely to encounter one sunning itself on the side of the track. If the snake sees you first it will quickly slide away. So be seen.
The best way to get a snake to bite you is to tread on it. Or try to kill it. So watch where you walk. Keep to the paths and you will have no problem seeing and being seen.
