Geocache Description:

There is no cache at the coordinates given above, but this location is where I parked when I placed the cache and it is less than one mile from the actual cache site. The coordinates for the cache itself are revealed in the image presented below.

Cross-Eyed Cache will take you across the Arboretum at Penn State along the BRT, which was once a major transportation route in and out of State College. Instead of engineers on coal-fired locomotives, runners, walkers, bikers, and cachers now enjoy the views of the inner slopes of the geological formation known today as Big Hollow. The BRT can be accessed from the coordinates given above (where street parking is available) or from multiple other points (but NOT directly from I-99). The cache container is a 6 by 6 inch plastic jar covered with camouflage tape in an easy hide.
