Geocache Description:

Newton Road forms the main link between West Bromwich and Great Barr. The cache is situated in an area to the side of this road.

Newton Road is 2.4 miles long starting from ‘All Saints Church (the old church) to the Scott Arms junction at Great Barr.
Newton Road crosses the M5 motorway, a railway (near where Newton Road Station existed), the River Tame and the Tame Valley Canal at High Bridges. The area is still rural and part of the Sandwell Valley which is easily explored by walking or cycling along route 5.

Situated not far from GZ is the Malt Shovel public house & carvery (built around 1935) and the historic Bishop Asbury's Cottage (built in the early 18th century)

The cache is a small camoed container slightly larger than a micro 35mm. There is some room for a small TB or a small coin.
GZ is best accessed by parking in Wigmore Lane and walking under Newton Road along cycle route 5.

The Cache contains only a Log so please bring a pen or pencil.
