The cache is 3" x 5" plastic container which is white. Funny those elves are sloughing off again, no paint. Terrain averages 8% but there are short spots maybe as much as 30% with minimal obstructions. This is the Lower Macleavy Trail and is beautiful. You will need to bring a pencil to log-in.
The container will hold small trackables and swag. Neo loves the outdoors and I'm a cache hound so once in a while there is a need for compromise. No the trail is not all level but the view you can not miss. The going down part will take you from around 500 feet elevation to 320 in the .4 mile walk to get this caches. Plans were for two but then puzzles you know.
Really the walk is not bad and definitely doable but you might have to take a rest on the way out.
You'll love the trail, the creek and even an old stone house that you pass by on the trail to this cache. The kids can take a run to the second level and exit on the other end.
Unfortunately you will not be alone for this is a much appreciated and used trail but ignore the mugglers and push on.
Yes, I'm more than sure the signal is going to be doing a war dance here but the geosenses will prevail. The higher rating is the return trip grade and the signal bounce...
