Geocache Description:

A Rubbermaid container located at Lake Alvin along a pretty well used foot trail.

You'll need a South Dakota State Park pass for this one. Park at the boat ramp at Lake Alvin. There is a small foot trail leaving from the northwest corner of the parking area. Follow the trail until you get close. This is an excellent area for bird watching and wildlife.
There is a nice overlook of Lake Alvin near the cache.

There is an old barbed wire fence that you need to cross, but you're still walking in the recreation area. I have obtained permission from the park ranger to place this cache.

There is no need to come across any private property. Please park in the boat ramp parking.

The container is a large lock-it's Rubbermaid container with plenty of trade items.
