The Christchurch to Little River Rail Trail begins in Hornby and heads out through farmland into Prebbleton, and then Lincoln. The trail follows a disused railway line and is being built to Little River in stages. The section where the cache has been placed is complete and accessible by bike/walk.
The title gives it away - sort of!
