Geocache Description:

Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Sokol’niki
(Khram Voskreseniia Khrista v Sokol'nikakh)

This place of worship was built in 1910-1913 by architect P. Tolstych, and is the only example in Moscow of a church built in the European modern style. Located next to Sokol'niki metro and close to the big park of the same name, this large tent-roofed church remained open during communist rule. For this reason it hosted a great number of precious icons, which were taken from other churches whose fate was less fortunate. One of these is the famous Iverskaia Holy Mother from the Iverskaia Chapel on Red Square, donated by holy monks in the 16th century. There are a further one hundred holy relics contained in the church. Daily services are now conducted here, as well as a Sunday school for children. Liturgy is held at 8am, and vespers at 6pm (5pm in winter). On Sundays, there are two liturgies - at 7am and 10am.

The cache container is a magnetic nano middle in a very urban area. It is not to be spotted visually (but for a kid).
Try to stay invisible, the place is pretty crowded.

Place the cache at its _exact_ original position, please.

Small note on cache maintenance: I visit here several times a year, also have associates nearby who can help between my visits if needed.
