What's That??? Traditional Cache
cornerofsky: Sorry to say that the logging company continues to post their "private land" signs in the most tiny of areas even though hikers and nature lovers have enjoyed these areas forever! The company is cautious about court issues lest someone hurt themselves on their property. Understandable. The courts have been working with them to make trails usable again but there is a huge fee for that privilege.
Thus I deem this cache no longer in use.

On hwy 410 heading up toward Mt. Rainier. Pull-off on rt. hand side (S.side). Very short jaunt to the cache. Bison tube cammoed.

Mt. Rainier has had the reputation of one of the first UFO sightings in 1945 when a pilot saw many elliptical shapes at
fantastic speeds near mt. Rainier. Oftentimes the Mt. gets a weather cap on top of her when a weather change is expected. These are often referred to as space ships since they look very much like those depicted in movies and
documentaries. There is a nice view of the Mt. as you face the cache.
On your left, however, atop a series of other lower hills, is
"the alien pod". This white dome is where we suspect the aliens live.
Neither the Mt. nor the "pod" are visible in gray, cloudy weather...which we believe is the alien's method of
cammoing their hide.
Below the cache is the White River, full of glacial run-off from Mt. Rainer.
