Omnesfossen is located near E 134.
Most of the time, the heavily regulated river Heddøla flows silently through the Heddal farmlands on its way towards Notodden and lake Heddalsvannet. But like most rivers, Heddøla also has a wild side. In the snow melting season in the spring and after heavy rains, the river goes back to its pre-hydroelectric size. Then Omnesfossen (the fall of Omnes) is a mighty sight.
You'll get he best view of the falls from the old bridge, where the cache is also placed. If the temperature is right, the parts beneath the new bridge is best for swimming.
The cache is a small lock n’lock box that can take coins and small trading items.
