The cache is not located at the posted coordinates
I was hoping to find an interesting story about the name of this area, but couldn’t come across much. If anyone knows some history about this, pass it along and I’ll add it to the cache page. For now, we’ll just say it is what it is; and here is your challenge:
- Identify the nine birds in the pictures below, and write down their names, with the corresponding numbers from the pictures.
- After figuring out what they have in common (check the hint if you need to), sort them as follows: north to south for six of them, followed by west to east for the other three.
- Leaving the original numbers as assigned to each one, assign the letters “a” through “i” in the new order.
- Replace the letters in the following coords with the corresponding numbers from your list to find the location.

UPDATE: Due to some changes at the location (including a shiny new fence), this one has been moved about 15 feet NW of GZ. Will now need to be approached from the street. Check the new hint if needed.
