Geocache Description:

The drive into the area is kind of rough so we recommend a good sturdy vehicle. You're looking for a regular ammo can near the north side of Plaza Lake. There are lots of mosquitos so dont forget BUG SPRAY

We met a fellow geocacher last week who said that he uses the Topo maps to find interesting places to hike and place caches (you know who you are). We started researching the Topo maps ourselves and we stumbled upon this one.
We counted 18 switchbacks on this, not very well maintained, trail so make sure your up for it. There are numerous trees down across the trail. One is so large, we had to crawl underneath it so we do not recommend this for smaller kids. It is a very nice hike however, through an old growth forest and the lake is beautiful.
When you get near the bottom there is an area (with a giant old growth tree) that appears to be used for camping but stay on the trail, you are not there yet. There is a little bit of bushwacking when you get close to the cache but you will see the trail again.
As we were heading down to the lake, we passed a man and his two sons coming back up the trail. They had been fishing and he mentioned that there are "Native Eastern Brook Trout" here.

Congratulations TJdamon and chaosbooboogunner for FTF
