Located just off a popular footpath outside the village of Upperthong, near Holmfirth
A small tube container hidden away just off a footpath leading down the valley between the villages of Upperthong and Netherthong. (thats right, its a two thong view!) The cache is accessible from either Upperthong or Holmfirth on foot, if you don't know the area, I would suggest the Upperthong way. Park up outside the Upperthong village hall (at N 053 34.450' , W 001 48.644' ) walk down the footpath next to the hall, and you should reach the cache in around 10-15mins. from here, you can complete a circular walk by continuing along the path until you come out onto a road called 'hill' once here, head back up the hill and onto another footpath, which will lead you back to Uperthong village, and back to the car (about an hours walk alltogether) If you are already parked in Holmfirth, you can access the cache by hiking up Cooper lane (off huddersfield Rd) and heading right at the top, then right agin onto the footpath. To start with, the cache contains a notebook, pencil, sharpener, a variety of kids toys and games, and our daughter Charlie's very first travel bug. UPDATE 31/03/2018 - This is no longer a numbered series due to many now archived, so now a standalone cache. FTF - Aldocandy!
