Located near The Barn a general meeting place for MUGGLES of ALL types hence the difficulty rating.
PLEASE TAKE CARE WITH YOUNG CHILDREN AS THE PONDS ARE ABOUT 2' DEEP WITH LOTS OF SILT ON THE BOTTOM.
The Barn is open on Sunday mornings 10.00 till 12 noon for refreshments.
One of 5 new caches on a circular route of about 1 mile round this Urban Park which was formerly the Northampton Golf Club course.
Bradlaugh Fields is a 60 hectare (150 acre) Urban Park which opened in 1998 it is managed bt the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers, the Northamptonshire Wildlife Trust, the Friends of Bradlaugh Fields and the Bradlaugh Barn Association.
Please look at the notice boards and informaton boards placed around the Park, there are some great views across the town and lots of things for families to do and see, including organised activities throughout the year.
If you feel energetic enough to add another mile to the route they can be linked to 4 existing caches ie "Bradlaugh Box" , Bishcafedas micro #1 and #2" and "Billies Box"(now Billies Hideout)
The ponds are great for Dipping and contain tadpoles (seasonal) sticklebacks and a variety of pondlife.
The cache is a plastic sample tube 1" dia 3 3/4" long covered in cammo tape ,contains a log book and pencil. PLEASE REPLACE EXACTLY AS FOUND.
