Geocache Description:

When summertime gets too hot, there's nothing like a swim to cool off...but um, we wouldn't really recommend that here.

This cache is a really nifty ammo can (check out the artwork by medicineturtle!) hidden at one of our favorite lesser-known spots. Cache holds various goodies, along with a special little something for the FTF. Although swimming is out, know that you very well may get wet while searching for this one...

Due to the terrain, it would not be advisable to bring small children along for this cache - unless you also have a spare adult to hang out with them while the other does the dirty work.

Slippery conditions may exist - please exercise caution. Don't try to blindly follow your GPS either - you may not survive the fall.

No "real" parking is available, but you may pull over onto the side of the road somewhere along these coordinates:

N 36 32.436 / W 079 58.956

Oh yeah - your car will get dirty too.

Wooden posts mark the entrance to the trail. Bring along a camera - this is a gorgeous spot, and we would LOVE to see your pictures along with your log entry (hint hint hint!)
