This site is in the area of a favorite location for our family! Good times... It's a great spot for a picnic and to let the kids run and explore.
This cache is a 4x6 water resistant container with a log book and a pencil only (for the time being). There is room for small items if you feel like leaving a T.B. or other S.W.A.G. (feel free). Later we may return and change the container for one with goodies, but we wanted to take advantage of our trip to the area with our "crew" of boys on such a beautiful day. The scenery is awesome and I highly recommend the nearby "Smith and Morehouse" campground for family camping.
Recommend long pants and hiking shoes - bug spray also depending upon time of year. Children under age of 6 may have some difficulty navigating terrain due to significant amount of "Blowdown" (trees)/tripping hazards.
