Valentine Springs is
not far out of Kununurra, turn off from Victoria Highway to Parry
Creek road (gravel) ok for 2WD but not in the Wet season because of
flooded creeks along.
Valentine Springs is
not really a waterfall. Rather a small set of rapids, and a shallow
and often very warm pool. But it's nice because it's so close to
town and easy to get to. It is very popular waterhole for locals
during the Wet season and it is still good enough to swim well into
the Dry season.
The cache is a
camouflaged plastic container with a pencil, sharpener and logbook
enough room for swaps or coins, approx 150 metres from car park,
well away from the muggles.
