Geocache Description:

Second in a series of caches placed at De Voetpadkloof

De Voetpadkloof:

A cosy resort about 45km from Middelburg on the Groblersdal road. The resort does not accept any day visitors, hence you'll have to make a weekend of it. The resort has various accommodation options - chalets, safari tents or camping with very clean ablutions. There are both hot and cold swimming pools. They have a dam with a catch and release program. You can go on a game drive or take any of the various hiking trails or perhaps tackle one of the mountain bike trails. There are more activities to satisfy most anybody's requirement. Do book in advance as the resort is very popular.

This cache is the second along the Kuile/Ponds hiking trail at the top of the waterfall. Please be carefull when approaching the cache as this is not on the normal trail. When reaching the cache sit a while and drink in the view. When proceeding along the trail be carefull as it is a dangerous climb down to the ponds, but well worth it.
