Update 4/21/10: The Chinaman's house was completed bulldozed today. There is not even a trace of this house left. It would seem the city of Marion is planning to use this prime property spot very soon. Get this cache while you can because the location may not last 
I have driven passed by this house for over a decade and I have always wondered if anyone even lives there. It sits in the middle of quite a few small businesses and has a business parking lot around it. Rumor has that a old chinaman lived there and refused to sell the house to the city due to a underground stream that ran underneath the home. This stream was supposed to have "spiritual and healing powers". I have been entertained by the various materials that have been used to hold the house together as age decays it slowly: aluminum, vinyl, brick, tarps, vegetation, etc.
