A little cache in a peaceful corner of Burniston.
The footbridge over the beck was a huge slab of stone but Mr Health and safety Jobsworth at the council has been out and a boring tarmac bridge is now there - or is it? Take a careful peak underneath from the road and you can still see the stone slab forms the strength of the bridge.
Nearby is the last remaining limekiln in Burniston. There were others as suggested by names like Limestone Road, and this one has been semi restored.
The cache is near a stream so keep a close watch on geokiddies.
