"4:30am" is located just off US Hwy 67 South of San Angelo. There is parking within a few feet of the cache. There are grasses around the cache site that may hide biting critters and nasty grass seeds in dry weather.
Mermaid came up with the name of this cache after "Team Hampton" and friends went out at 4:30 am for what they thought would be a FTF. When they opened the log book, they were disappointed to to find that someone else had already signed the log. "Team Hampton" here is another TB Hotel and another chance for a FTF. Good Luck!
San Angelo has a rich military history and early settlers of the area were protected by the soldiers of Ft. Concho. That tradition lives on through the men and women who serve the people of the United States at Goodfellow Air Force Base. In order to access the cache you will need to know the year that Ft. Concho was established.
There is a prize for FTF. The original contents include the following: T-Rex, Camoed pen, finger bowling, balloon race car, birthday bubbles, zebra, soldier duck, fish eye glasses, mermaid, spiny duck, San Angelo bottle opener, Red TB, Thirst Ade TB, logbook & pens.
Happy Caching!
