Geocache Description:

We were disappointed when the last cache up here was recently removed. We were so looking forward to finding one up here so in response we put in another one to replace it. This is a nice place to have a picnic. You are even allowed to set up camp if you wish. Hanging Rock is the first place that it snows so unless you are a snow bunny I would wait until the weather warms up a bit before camping.
Sheba Dam is comprised of three dams. Apparently they were man made to wash gold on the way down the mountain during the gold rush years. During this time the Chinese also set up some market gardens around the area and used the water for that.
The dam is rumoured to be very deep and very cold (there are signs that even mention this) so swim at your own risk. Trout fishing is also popular here, just obey the fishing rules on the near by signs.

The cache its self is located across the dam crossing somewhere between the two dams to encourage one to get out and stretch the legs. About 150 metres from the start of the walking track. You could also follow the nearby track that continues around the main dam. This should not take to long. The cache is kid friendly so give them the gps and send them on their way. Happy hunting.
