Geocache Description:

Beautiful vista of Electric Lake and Boldger Reservoir. The hike is steep but well worth it. Follow the ridge up to the peak.

Growing up, my family spent a week camping and fishing in the area. One of our hikes led us up to the top of a peak overlooking Electric Lake and Boldger reservoir. The climb was difficult and steep but well worth the effort. The descent was slow and difficult due to the steep face of the mountain, and the slick plants. Being courageous or just crazy kids, we decided to emulate the deer and bound down the steep slope. To heighten our bravery we yelled Geronimo at the top of our lungs. From then on the mountain became known to our family as Geronimo Mountain. This hike has became a family tradition, that our kids have continued to love.

The cache is under a flat rock at the base of a large lone aspen tree. Some smaller flat rocks were placed over it for protection.

The cache contains many items for trade.
