This is #4 in the Body By Geocache series. This series is dedicated to getting you out into the wild and getting the heart pumping, the blood flowing through the veins and the metabolism jumping and burning some calories. Geocaching has taken me many great places and allowed me to experience a plethora of wonders and helped me lose weight and get in shape. It can do the same for you.
On Garmin’s Topo maps this is the end of Canyon Road. The road hasn’t been maintained as a road for many many years now, but as you see from your hike up it, it is a quite nice, rugged mountain bike and hiking trail. Going either direction on your mountain bike from here will lead to a bit of white knuckle riding as the elevation changes quickly and the speed with it. Look closely at the trail as you hike/bike in and out and you can see how little of it still remains.
Don’t forget that the gate closes at 10:00pm and will not open again until the following morning if you get stuck inside
Don’t forget to take note of what is written inside the cache as you may need it for future caches in the series.
Please bring a small Ziploc bag to put the log and pencil in if you are the FTF, I ran out of them in my caching bag at the time I placed this. Thanks,
