This is a section of the long path rarely used. It is well marked and there is very little forest undergrowth to take over the trail. Here is just one more reason to get out and enjoy this great trail.
This cache is located close to the remains of several blueberry pickers' shacks, now long abandoned. You can find out more by visiting the nature center at Sam's Point open only Friday through Monday.
Parking is available at Sam's Point for $7. There is also room to pull of the road where the Long path crosses Gully Road. Here, of course, the parking is free.
