Background (Psyprof): There are three quilts in the vicinity of this geocache. Two are side by side on a barn across the road from the house, Sunshine Sue with Balloons and Farmer Boy with Kite. These two quilt squares were painted by Hershel and Ozelle Holland. They are based on the Dutch Girl and Dutch Boy patterns.
The other quilt square is on another barn which is beside the house. This quilt square is called Mark’s Star and was made from a pattern on a family quilt. The cache is located on the highway right of way and you can see all three quilt squares from the road.
