In 1991 the Foothills United Methodist Church's Youth Group began an annual tradition of putting on an original musical comedy as a combination fundraiser and way to teach the kids from the junior and senior high youth groups to work together toward a common goal.
This cache location near a brand new extension of a community park which has added a water play area to the existing infrastructure within the past two weeks (June 2009.) The family and I have spent many hours at this park for soccer practices over the years, a good diversion when one has writer's block or similar problems having put off the writing until the last moment. Just like in college!! On the walk to this cache you might even get lucky and find a rogue soccer ball which was never recovered after flying over the fence.
The tenth FUMC production, "Peter Panic" was was the ninth of the FUMC plays completely written from scratch by Gplamy and wife. It also heralded the completely unanticipated return of the youth plays after a three year haitus. It was performed in the spring of 2002, and told the story of Peter Pan and some of his perpetually lost boys, as they battle with the forces of evil. Only near the end of the story, as the characters have (literally) gotten themselves into a stew does he realize the reason Captain Hook has been after him so aggressively over the years is due to Captain Hook actually being a girl in disguise, who has a huge crush on Peter.
The following information is no longer valid but I have left it in the listing for historical purposes:
Each cache in this series will have information regarding the characters of the Hero, Heroine, and Villan of that particular play. Make a note of these character names when you find the cache, as they will play a part in locating every fourth cache in this series. Caches GC1W8D6, GC1W8DF, and GC1W8E2 will all contain part of the information necessary to locate GC1W8ER.
