Up & Down The River
Cache along the Scenic Highway 200 Corridor, except that it does have some pretty nice views of the Clark Fork River – both up and down stream. The Montana Rail Link Railroad line runs along the opposite side of the river and provides a beautiful backdrop for the river if you’re lucky enough to stop when a train is chugging past.
Parking should be done only in the pull out provided then it’s an easy trek across the, not very busy most of the time, highway. Since traffic and swift water is present, it would be wise to assist children and the infirm to the cache site and while standing along the shore.
Please respect the orientation of the cache container and replace it the same way to minimize any water intake.
