The Rivah Country Geocachers invite you to attend our second BYOF (bring your own food) meet and greet.
We will meet at the picnic shelter, located at the rear entrance to Beaverdam Park (RT 606 farys mill road). We have the shelter reserved from 8am - 1 pm. The event offically begins at 9am. Stop by your favorite breakfast spot and grab your take out and coffee, and come to the park for a morning of food and geo conversation. Drop any trackables you may have. Im sure there will be folks there to help move them along..Add this listing to your watch list so you will be sure to get any updates.Please post a ' will attend' with the number in your party if you plan on being there.
BOAT LAUNCHING
There is a boat ramp at this entrance to the park. If you plan to bring your own boat, you need to visit the ranger station (located at the main entrance) prior to launch to obtain a launch permit.There are not many water accessable caches close to the rear entrance, but there is nice scenery and calmer waters.
