Geocache Description:


This cache series - Smith Run - is located along a Fredericksburg City Public Trail, created and supported by the Fredericksburg Pathways Partnership. It is accessible from two trailheads just off Cowan Boulevard.

The Yankee references to the battles are included on another placard at the end of the trail:

All caches in the series can be reached from the trail. During your trail passage you will pass City law enforcement facilities, City Public Works facilities, within view residences and subdivisions, but there is no reason to enter or cross any of those areas.


Smith Run Trail cache #7 is called Turning Point, for you have nearly reached the end of the trail. We included a FTF prize and various trinkets. The Beans & I hope you enjoy this trail as much as we did.
