Geocache Description:

**cache is a silver Bison temporarily***

James Marshall Hendrix was with us from November 27, 1942 – September 18, 1970. He was a musical legend on the guitar and this micro cache is in honor of him and his music.
Jimi wasn't well known in the states until his performance at The Monterey Pop Festival in Monterey, California ( I envy my dad for having been to the festival and saw Jimi perform). He went on to play Woodstock and the Isle of Wight Festival.
Jimi was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 1992, the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005, and he was the first person to be inducted into the Native American Music Hall of Fame . He was also named by Rolling Stone magazine one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time!
Jimi was not only born in Seattle, but he is buried in nearby Renton. There is a memorial statue on the corner of Broadway and Pine in Seattle, a memorial dome at the Greenwood Memorial Park (where he is buried), and a blue plaque at his former residence on Brook Street in London.
Rock on!

Congratulations go to brentley13 and rambudo for Co-FTF!!!
