Placed whilst on a visit to Al Hair dam.
There is no marked path down to the dam and is a bit of a scramble down to the dam, but should be okay for children over 10. Please take care though. You will be away from the car for at least 45 minutes, be prepared appropriately.
On our visit we had an interesting time spotting catfish in the water, attempting to jump up the outflow - reminding us of migrating salmon - we even saw a terrapin or turtle!
It would be a good picnic site if the wind is in the right direction or you do not mind the smell of rotting vegetation.
A stroll along the wadi and a short easy scramble will get you to the cave entrance. The cache is a small tupperware box, in a small cave, home to many geckos.
