Geocache Description:

An easy find in an interesting and picturesque spot.

The cache is a medium sized lunch box, placed near the site of the old Harty Ferry, one of three ferries that used to link the Isle of Sheppey with the rest of Kent.

The Sheppey website has more information here > (visit link)

** PLEASE TAKE CARE IF DRIVING TO THE CACHE! **
The road out to the Harty Ferry is very rough and uneven and you will almost certainly have to wait for rabbits, pheasants and ducks to move out of the way.

This is my first cache so please feel free to contact me with any comments - good or bad and please ensure the cache is well hidden when replacing - thanks!

When placed, the cache contained:

A penguin
A pirate
An LED torch keyring
A 2009 Diary
A racing grandad
Logbook and pen
