Geocache Description:

On the R700 between Soutpan and Bloemfontein. An easy roadside cache. You do not have to enter the reserve.

The entrance to the Park is about 35 Km from Bloemfontein on the R700. The Modder river meanders through the park. It is a provincial nature reserve on 6247 hectare. Of this 2056 hectare is the Krugersdrift dam. Soetdoring is an IBA (Important Birding Area). In the reserve you can enjoy angling, picknicking and game viewing. Braai facilities are located along the river and the dam. Entrance is R30.00 per car at the moment.

Unfortunately it is not possible to go from this entrance and the cache directly to the Krugersdrift dam. I will try to place another cache at the other entrance to the dam and the nature reserve.
