Trail is access road to abandoned mine, closed to traffic but open for hiking, biking and cross country skiing. You are above 10,000 feet and the grade on the road can be steep, be sure to have lots of water.
Access is off Fredonia Gulch Road, parking is scarce, if you have a high clearance car, there is one parking spot at the gate.
