The cache is along a well-worn dirt path, lined with brush, with some changes in elevation.
This cache is located in the Bluffwoods Conservation Area of northwest Missouri and it is a nice shady hike to the cache site. Watch out for poison ivy in the summer and hunters in the fall, winter, and spring during turkey and deer season. The total hiking distance is one mile, whether you are taking the loop, or returning back the way you came. There is parking and a restroom available at N 39 37.399 W 094 57.972 as you begin your hike to the cache. Be aware that the cache is only accessible during certain hours. The Bluffwoods Conservation Area is closed from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am.
The cache container is an ammo can, clearly marked with geocaching.com on the side. The original contents are an unactivated 2009 Compass Rose geocoin, a Jeff Gordon Christmas ornament, a pirate spy glass, a yo-yo ball, an assortment of microcache containers that are ready to place, a hand-carved wooden head, a caged burr, a wooden fish puzzle, a Jonah-in-the-whale puzzle, and an assortment of toys.
