Geocache Description:

Along a power line.

This is a follow up to " MOM'S 100TH BIRTHDAY " . If you have checked that one out you will know that Mom grew up on a farm in Maine, taught school for about 30 years and lived for a little more than 100 years. Today ( 7-25-2009) she would have been 101. *** Mom loved horses and as a girl growing up on that farm she had her own horse named Ned. When she and Ned were not working they would go riding around the countryside. As a teenager she taught horse back riding at a summer camp. When Mom first started teaching she would ride Ned to school and back. After Mom married Dad many years went by before she would go horse back riding again. I went to visit her on her 85TH birthday and asked her if there was something special that she would like to do. She said that she wanted to go horse back riding - and she did. She got on one horse and my nephew on another, and off they galloped. When they returned the SMILE on her face was PRICELESS. She went again on her 90TH birthday. Mom never let her age slow her down. She went kayaking with me twice, at age 98 and 99. I also took her GEOCACHING in Maine once when she was 99. **** As the name would indicate this cache theme is horses. Plan to trade toy horses, items with pictures of horses or anything related to horses. ( No Horse Shoes, Please). Now gallop away and find the cache. Good Luck !!
