Chase the Ca¢he Traditional Cache

Like an ATM, this one is quick ca¢he.
My family and I decided to place our first cache while on a visit to Scottsdale for my grandma's memorial service. While here, we spent much of our time visiting favorite locations, old homes, and reminiscing about the many wonderful times my family has enjoyed here throughout the years. We decided on this site after Dad recalled visiting the unique bank many times with Grandma, simply to enjoy the design (in fact, she never had an account there at all).
This bank (formerly Valley National Bank) was designed by Frank Henry in 1968 and commissioned by CEO Walter Bimson. Many refer to this bank as the "mushroom" bank for its mushroom, or lily pad, style structures orbiting the building. Also adding to the flavor of the unique modernist building are the elegant sculptures of expressively posed figures by John Waddell, giving the rigid stone building a playful, delicate atmosphere.
After a bit of research I found that Henry and Waddell have recently collaborated to redesign the Bimson Memorial Park to achieve the vision for the open space that Bimson had originally intended. This in mind, we hope that the cache will survive through any changes to the area in the upcoming years. For now, please enjoy both the cache and the beautiful site.
