Geocache Description:

At one time this was one of my favorite trout fishing spots. I still go here at times when I need a quick fix, because its so accessable, but now I generally prefer spots away from the roar of the highway. The cache replaces The Roar which was about 100 feet from this spot.

The name comes from the combined sounds of the stream and the highway.

Though I have been here many times, when I placed this I noticed for the first time evidence of what might have been a dam along the stream directly across from the cache. There are also some rocks with drill holes evident nearby. I have no idea what was here or why the may have been dammed at one time. Perhaps someone local may know.
