Geocache Description:

This cache is the fourth cache in the Country Cemetery Series (CCS) put out by Gingie and me. We hope to bring you a little history as you visit these 'out of the way' places. This one is a completely forgotten cemetery along the highway that is easily missed. May require a little climb up the imbankment of the roadway. There is parking across the highway on an old lake access road. Be careful while crossing!

This cemetery contains 2 graves. Legend has it that they were members of a wagon train traveling through the area. The graves are 2 young girls 1 who is known to have died in 1878 at the age 8. If you have any other information about these forgotten children, please pass it on so that they can be remembered!
