An easy cache near Newchurch Village pond in a very pleasant spot.
This cache is next to Newchurch village pond which contains local wildlife and which was constructed for the Millenium. It is also opposite one of the control points used on the first ever Trailquest in the South east, (mountain bike orienteering) of which we were event organisors. The area is famous for having the first windsurfing shop in the country (1960's), the first man v bike competition, (Boxing Day at Saltwood) and possibly the first mountain bikes in UK. It is therefore a bit of fun that our cache is another first, hopefully not last! Enjoy...cache is a decon box and contains just pen and log book. Look out for the nearby wild mountain bikers!
