This cache is a short multi in the Great Sutton area designed to commemorate me finding my 100th cache. My 100th cache was found on Friday 24th July 09. I started back in early February 09 and it has taken me less than six months to achieve my challenge. My 100th find was located on a bridleway not far from the M53’s junction 3. The name of the cache was Ben Ten series – Heatblast. For both stages you will need super stealth especially at stage 2, as it is right opposite the A41 junction and there is a pub nearby so don’t be surprised if you receive a few funny looks when hunting. There is only one container and that is at stage 2 GZ. (When this cache was originally placed, you would have needed long arms or a hooked stick to the retrieve the cache) Now it is a lot easier, just bend very low down. For the original FTF there was a small gift and a TB. At stage 1 you will have to crack the code of the words and numbers on a stone. The code is located below:
Using the letters of the place name found on the stone take their corresponding numeric position in the alphabet Example: A=1, B=2, C=3 through to X=24, Y=25 and Z=26 Substitute them into the following equation to find the final cache location. N 53º 15.7(**) Where (**) = Fourth Letter – Second Letter W 002º 55.7(**) Where (**) = Fourth Letter + Fifth Letter + Seventh Letter There is a connection between this and my first hide.
